What to Expect

We welcome you to our office and want you to feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for at every visit. If there is anything we can do to help you enjoy your visit, or if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to talk with us. Call or email any time.

What to Expect
Dr. Stewart considers the first visit a time for the patient and doctor to get to know one another. He will sit down with you in our consultation room and discuss why you came to the office that day, what problems you’ve had with your oral health or dentistry in the past, and what you hope to accomplish for your oral health and smile in the future. He’ll answer your questions and ask questions. He’ll listen to your concerns and provide experienced counsel.

After the initial introductions and discussion, you’ll move to a treatment room where Dr. Stewart will examine your mouth. He’ll look at your teeth, their placement, how they come together (bite or occlusion), and existing dental work. He’ll also evaluate your soft tissues (cheeks, gums, tongue, and palate) for signs of disease or infection.

If necessary, we’ll take x-rays and photographs to aid in diagnostics. Dr. Stewart can review these images with you, explain his findings, again answer your questions, and work with you to come up with the best treatment plan.

Before your visit ends, our front office personnel will explain the treatment cost and schedule. If you would like to explore financing, please let us know. We work with trusted third-parties that offer low- and no-interest patient loans. We’ll then schedule your next visit and answer any final questions. You can always call or email our office if you have questions after you go.
